Description 

PMI-OC is proud to present D'Shone Swiney from DS Consulting Services.  D'Shone will be speaking on presenting to B and C Level Audiences.  We will discuss how to deliver presentations that address B Level (Business Owners) and C level (CEO, CFO, COO, CIO, CLO, etc) audiences.   She will provide tips for highly effective presentations.  The success of your presentation depends on many factors. The main goals of an effective presentation are to get your message across and obtain buy-in from your audience.  After completion of this course you will have the tools and techniques required to achieve those goals.

Presentation Topics will include:


• How to develop an effective PowerPoint for C–Level professionals
• How to effectively present to C–Level professionals
• How to effectively present to other businesses
 
 

Attendees will work individually and in teams to perform exercises designed to assist them in developing effective presentations.  They will:

 

• Prepare presentations
• Present presentations: Attendees will role play various C-level and other business people and be given a problem to present to the C-level   and other business people (such as: justifying a late project, justifying a schedule change, presenting status of financials, justifying the need for more money, requesting more resources/justifying a staffing change; requesting new business, etc. to be designed and presented in three or four-person groups).

 

D’Shone Swiney is the CEO, President for DS Consulting Services, Inc.  She established the consulting firm during 1998.  She brings more than 12 years of experience in project and training management to her position at DS Consulting Services.  For the last five of those years, she has been consulting extensively in project management assignments specializing in systems conversion/implementation and training development and delivery.  Her areas of expertise include:  business requirements development, instructional design, curriculum development, change management, deployment facilitation, and event planning.

Cancellation Policy

 

Reservations must be cancelled no later than 10 pm PST three days prior to the event in order to receive a refund. All cancellations (including duplicate registrations) are subject to a 10% Administrative fee. To cancel, send an email to registration_cancel@pmi-oc.org and include your name and event.
